Erie Islands Adventure

If you’re newer to paddling and seeking an overnight adventure, we’re planning a three-day trip to the Erie Islands. We’ll meet in the Sandusky area on Friday evening, June 6 to talk logistics. On Saturday morning, we’ll travel by ferry to South Bass Island. On Saturday and Sunday, we will explore the rocky coast, historical sites and charming villages, and do a few short crossings from island to island. We’ll camp out Saturday and Sunday nights, returning via ferry on Monday around noon. This is a great trip for developing your sea kayak paddling and safety skills while camping using the type of equipment we’d carry on a kayak-supported trip. Contact us for more information.
