This is the sequel the course we offered last summer, which included camping and exploring in the spectacular 30,000 islands of Ontario. It’s the perfect place to work on navigation skills while enjoying a wild and scenic locale.

Georgian Bay’s 30,000 Islands are part of the United Nations Georgian Bay Littoral Biosphere Reserve. The islands are mainly uninhibited, with billion-year-old rocks exposed to the sky!

We have a range of plans, depending on your goals, the weather, the sea state and opportunities that arise, but they may include:

Exploring the islands
Handling crossings
Skill-building
Risk management and decision making
Navigation
Packing and unpacking boats
Camping out of a kayak
Meal preparation
