The sea kayaking world isn’t that big. The serious sea kayaking world is even smaller. And the geeky, read-about-it-when-you-aren’t-doing-it sea kayaking world? Smaller still.

That may seem unimpressive to a blogger who covers a topic of more general interest, such as politics, law, news or sports.
